Other than animal sightseeing, the zoo also offers various activities that will make your visit to the award-winning park enjoyable. From the Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife to the animal shows and feeding sessions, your visit to the zoo will be the most memorable highlight during your stay in Singapore.

There are plenty of exhibits and zones for you to visit. One of the popular exhibits in the Singapore Zoo has to be the White Tiger. These rare and charming giant cats will enchant you with their blue eyes, pink noses, and creamy white fur covered with brown stripes.  The Singapore Zoo also has one of the largest collections of proboscis monkeys among the zoos in the world. You can observe the monkeys via a glass panel separating you from these primates. Other exhibits include the Pygmy Hippo, Chimpanzee, Naked Mole Rat, and several others.

The Singapore Zoo is a place where visitors will have a great understanding of the animals through the well-designed and interactive displays. A trip to the Singapore Zoo will not only be educational, but exciting and enjoyable as well.

Night Safari

If you want to avoid the scorching hot sun, but at the same time observe animals, then the Night Safari is the perfect attraction for you! Specially designed to house over 2,500 nocturnal creatures, it is the world’s first wildlife night park that houses animals in their naturalistic night environment. The award winning park features various highlights that will leave you with a lasting impression on the spectacular animals.

Start your journey with the must-see Creatures of the Night Show, where the animals show-off their natural and unique behaviours and skills. This interactive show features the talents of the otter, binturong, civet, and many other nocturnal animals. Don’t miss this spectacular show!

Then get on the guided tram ride to the seven different geographical zones of the Night Safari’s world. The zones covered include the Himalayan Foothills, Equatorial Africa, and Asian Riverine Forest, among others. After the ride, embark on a walking trail to explore areas that are not covered by the tram ride. The Wallaby Trail, Night Safari’s newest addition, portrays the distinctive wildlife of the Australian Outback and highland forests. Other trails include the Leopard Trail, Fishing Cat Trail, and East Lodge Trail.

A trip to the Night Safari will be a memorable experience for all ages. It is a cooling, peaceful, and exciting experience that will make you want to visit the park again!

Jurong Bird Park

Jurong Bird Park is one of the world’s well-known bird sanctuaries where you can be entertained and learn about the different types of birds as you stroll around the park. With more than 5,000 birds from 380 species, it is Asia’s largest bird park spanning across 20.5 hectares of landscape.

Hike into the African Waterfall Aviary where the tallest man-made waterfall is placed and view over 600 African birds. While walking through the paths and swamps, keep your eyes open for the birds as they fly and chirp around the trees.

Australian descent birds can be observed at the 9-storey high Lory Loft, which is the world's largest walk-in flight aviary for lories and lorikeets. As the ambience is derived from the rainforest valley in Northern Australia, you can expect a realistic ambience as you walk through the aviary. You can purchase a cup of nectar mixture if you’d like to feed the birds. If you’re lucky enough, they will perch on your shoulder, which makes an excellent photo opportunity.

There are also bird shows that are held a few times a day, where you can enjoy performances by the charming birds. If you only have time for one show, then the High Flyers Show is the one to be at. Watch in awe as the parrots race to display their speed and ability.

These are just a few of the range of park experiences that you will stumble into. More exciting adventures and discoveries await you at Jurong Bird Park. Whether it's an outing with your significant others, family, or friends, Jurong Bird Park have everything for everyone.
